JCC Fall Program Guide - Flipbook - Page 3
Message from the
President/CEO
Dear Friends,
It’s always hard to say goodbye to summer. Every year it feels like the season
comes and goes in the blink of an eye, and it will be especially bittersweet closing
out this summer at the JCC after marking so many exciting milestones together
these last few months.
A few highlights include welcoming more than 2,300 campers and 500 seasonal
staff members to our Leventhal-Sidman campus for 10 weeks of fun, exploration, and
endless activity at our JCC Camps. We also re-opened the JCafé in partnership with
Gourmet Catering by Andrew, bringing back delicious food options for our community
to enjoy on the go or sitting down with family and friends, and enabling us to expand
our service offerings to include daily lunches for JCC campers. Not least of all we
unveiled our new branding and visual identity, including a full suite of bright, joyful
logos that beautifully represent the current evolution of our JCC and our vision for
the future. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone in our community who has helped
make this summer so memorable.
At the same time, I am eagerly awaiting fall at the JCC and all that comes with it from the start of preschool at our Early Learning Centers and the return of Discovery
Club After School, to the seemingly endless roster of programs, classes, events and
celebrations taking place this season for adults, kids, and families of all ages. Plus, to
kick off the highly eventful season, we’ll be celebrating everything that makes our
community exceptional during our first-ever Community Week starting September 8!
Take a look inside this program guide for a small sample of the exciting classes,
events, and exclusive member perks being offered during this special week at the
JCC, and mark your calendars to join us!
I look forward to sharing many more memorable and meaningful experiences together
at the JCC as we enter fall and the Jewish High Holiday season. Wishing everyone a
Shanah Tovah, a sweet new year filled with growth, joy, and connection in community.
Sincerely,
Lily Rabinoff-Goldman
