JCC Winter Program Guide - Flipbook - Page 3
Message from the
President/CEO
Dear Friends,
As we transition into spring, I have been thinking a lot about the essential role that arts
& culture play in maintaining a vibrant, joyful, and inclusive community. From film and
theater to visual arts, literature, and speaker series, these experiences encourage us to
see the world through new perspectives, spark meaningful conversations, and deepen
our connections with one another.
At the JCC, arts and culture are foundational to how we build community all year long,
but this spring feels especially rooted in the arts.
In March, we proudly hosted the Boston Israeli Film series in our beautiful, newly
renovated Riemer Goldstein Theater. This was a major milestone for our community in
that it was the first cinematic event for Boston Jewish Film (BJF) at JCC Greater
Boston under our new partnership.
The excitement will continue into April as we look forward to celebrating BJF’s move to
the JCC, along with our vision for expanding our Arts & Ideas programs, through an
evening of Jewish humor with B.J. Novak and the Novak family at our annual gala,
JCC@333.
Suffice to say, when we engage in arts and culture programs, or any of the wide
variety of events and activities offered at the JCC, we are building a community
rooted in creativity, curiosity, and belonging together.
As you explore our Spring Program Guide, I encourage you to try something new,
revisit a favorite activity, and take full advantage of all that this season has to offer. At
the JCC there are endless ways to find your center, your spark, or your new beginning
with friends, family and community. I look forward to sharing many more meaningful
milestones and experiences together at the JCC this spring.
Wishing you a season of growth, inspiration, and connection.
Warmly,
Lily Rabinoff-Goldman
President/CEO, JCC Greater Boston
